my question to all is do I use the 25 pin port going to the DVDO? and if so can I use a double ended 9 pin cable then get a adapter that goes from 9 pin to a 25 pin or do I have to spend big money to get a custom cable ?

Not sure what projector you have but the 15 pin is the VGA output that goes to the projector. You cant use a 9 pin or 15 pin serial cable instead of 75 ohm RGB cable. Depending on what projector you have most of these can be bought at a reasonable price already made up from Monoprice or other cable companies. Doug

I understand now a bit better. On that one you most likely will need to make up. Im not a Sony person but Im sure someone will chime in that can help on this. There was a web site for Sony owners of this model but cant remember what that was. I think they either sold them or showed the make up of it. Doug
