|
|
I was at the computer store today and I decided to drop into the video store next door. It's an independant shop called the
DVD MANSION.
He has EVERY HD-DVD and EVERY Blue Ray disk available for rent. He also has a large selection of odd ball stuff on regular DVD such as kung fu, documentaries, concerts, TV shows ( rented by the season ), out of print stuff and new releases DVD's 2 weeks before the other guys.
Here's the address:
DVD Mansion
8425 Woodbine Ave
Markham, Ont
905-479-7383
dvdmansion AT bellnet.ca
Membership requires a photo ID and a credit card.
Directions. From the DVP/404 exit at Wodbine and go north till you see the Tigerdirect store. Turn in, they share a drive way.
OR take HW 7 to Wodbine and go south a very short ways turn in across from the Office Place store East side of the street.

I think he's mostly rental. Give him a call. I don't remember seeing any for sale.

Think he'll open an Orangeville or Guelph, or, dare I say it....a Hillsburgh location?
Just a thought....

Thanks, Lance. I just checked out their web site and it looks quite promising.

I still like walking into a video store and being bedazzled by the cornucopia of tittles on the shelves.

yes, but you can't always get what you want.
for example. i need -make that NEED a copy of shadowlands starring Anthony Hopkins for this weekend. rogersvideoonlinerentalthingy is the only place in the country with that in stock. and i'm not sure i'm going to get it delivered in time. it will, as they say, be close.
hmmmm. anyone out there have a copy...?
