i was looking at HD DVD players today in costco. they have the RCA HDV5000, but i can't google anything useful about it other than it is essentially the Toshiba HD-A1 internally.
anyone have any experiance with the RCA beastie?

This was my first HD-DVD player and I liked it. It was the usual slow for the first generation.
I now have an xbox 360 add-on which is much quicker but overall the RCA player is solid. It always played my discs.
