Hello!

Yesterday my 808s wouldn't sync properly, it flickers and tries to sync at 36Hz, instead of 60Hz.

Sometimes it manages to sync, but the picture is dim and there is some lines rolling over the screen.

I use a PS3 and a Tosh. HD-XA1 via BG-DVI to 808s, both have the same problem.

The red light on the Vertical board is lit when it dosn't manage to sync.

Someone who would guess what's wrong..?

Problem could be in BG-DVI, port3 board or vertical deflection board.

Port3 boards have been caused lot of similar problems lately with DVI/HDMI inputs...

Is there any problems with port5 input?

Forgot to tell that i have connected the BG-DVI to port5.

Connected my pc (1920x1080 60Hz) to port3 and it has no problems at all..

Have you also tried to connect your PC to the analog RGBHV inputs of Port 5 (so bypassing the BG-DVI)? If this works then the BG-DVI is defective... Mind you, you can blow up a BG-DVI adapter if your Barco is not earthed properly.

Nobody got a good guess what can be wrong with my Port5 board?

It really confusing..
both RGBHV and Component flickers, but the internal pattern work.
as I can tell from the schematic the only thing these has in common is 1 transistor, but they also share it with internal sync, and int. sync seems to work fine..

Some of you electronic experts got to have a reasonable explanation..?
