I was browsing Videogon a couple of days ago and saw when I clicked 'new today' that someone had snagged a G90 with less than 300 hrs for $3200 (they might have paid less, I dunno).

Anyone here get this deal?

It had to only be listed for a few minutes before it was snagged. I checked on my morning break and it was not there. When I checked on my lunch hour it had been listed and sold.

What a deal.

If he can safely ship it internationally, and then if he can troubleshoot the disclosed problems better than the previous owner(s), and then if he can find the part he needs and then if the replacement part resolves the issue, then yes, it could be a nice deal.

Curt has been very kind and offered his help to fix it, albeit remotely.

I'm pretty sure its a single board (deflection) so fixing it shouldn't be too hard. I was going to ship it over to Curt directly, but that would have doubled the shipping costs. Door to airport (From Long Island to Melbourne, Australia) it is costing me $550 US to ship. I'm going to do the customs paperwork myself.

I'm going to try to buy the second G90 that came up today for 6k - already offered him the price he wants. Stack or blend... hmm..!?

I also picked up a Crystalio 2 for $2700 - bargain! Videogon is fantastic. I have a little program that automagically emails me whenever a new listing appears, so I usually manage to buy stuff before anyone else sees it Smile

Just a quick note.

Just checked out that ad. Seller does not state usage? Did he tell you how many hours are on the unit?

I've got Art's second G90 upstairs that Ken is selling. Just so ya know.

I'll PM you my email.

The other seller hasn't got back to me yet with hours
