I had an e-mail from Gary over a month ago, saying he expected to ship my player the next day.
I asked for a tracking number, but have received no reply, and he hasn't responded to any of my PMs since then...

I know, maybe he's on vacation, .... but a month?

Yeah, I got my player no probs. Thumbs Up
Gary wont rip you off, at least thats how i find him to deal with.
Just hang in there...

I was the same when waiting around 2 weeks. I bombarded gary with mails for tracking numbers etc but got no reply. Then it arrived out of the blue, making me think what was all the fuss about.

BTW, the pic is fab

You will need to enter a code to make it region 0 though. PM me for the code if you need to. It is quite simple to do.

Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Looks like Gary took the CMJohnson "Customer Service Made Easy!" correspondence course. The motto being "The easiest service is no service!" Mr. Green

I would never even mention gary in the same sentence as that plomker. He is totally cool. Maybe bombarded is an unfair expression.
He did reply saying that it would ship on the thursday. I received it the following tuesday.

Thumbs Up

yeah, only when I go back and read what i wrote I realise that it makes gary look terrible. I didnt mean it like that.

I was more referring to how anxious I was to recieve the player. You start panicking in anticipation. I couldnt wait. I meant it more to describe my frame of mind, not to make gary look like he didnt answer my mails.

In fact he did answer most of them, I just didnt get the tracking number. I was afraid it might be stuck in customs without my knowing. That was why i was anxious for the tracking number. It arrived with no hassle before gary responded. Got away without paying import tax aswell Thumbs Up

So, sorry gary if i made u look like cmj, it wasnt my intention. Gary is truly honest and a pleasure to deal with. He wont rip you off Thumbs Up

OOps... did i say earlier that i would never mention gary and cm in the same sentence. D'oh... i just did it again Laughing

I feel another retraction is on the way

Mike I apologize for the extreme delays on your player, I don't even want to get into it because they are excuses, it pains me that everytime something goes wrong that it is out of my control to fix, I wish I could, in the end your customers see you as being the issue and this pains me to no end because I take pride in how I treat people and those who have purchased from me know this as a fact

I am dying to spill out that situation with Wallace I keep elluding to, it is a real hum dinger Thumbs Down but I won't do it because that wouldn't be right

Mike you should have your player soon dude, I am sure you will love it

anyone has any other ?'s or concerns, shoot them, I want to thank everyone for the post Thumbs Up

how do you know anything about my business practises Phil? I have been in business online since I was 14 years old, nearly 10 years now, I would like to know where that came from Confused

maybe you should seek some additional evidence before sweeping me into the pot with someone like CMJohson

if it's a joke I don't think its funny(nor would you if reversed), and I laugh more than anyone on this earth

Gary, that reminds me of people that answer any negative comments directed at them with, "You don't know anything about me!" Usually, you don't WANT to know anything more about these type of people. What little you know is already too much.

Of coarse I'm not putting you in that category, but you are using that defense, which I think is terribly lame.

Here's what I DO know:

I don't really see where I need to know any more Gary. Rolling Eyes

In all honesty Gary, I was shocked to read this. I may not agree with some of your products, but I envisioned you as a go getter, on the ball kind of guy.

please dont quote me again trying to make gary look like an ass. I already explained the context of why i wrote that., and it was not meant to mean what u are trying to imply. It doesnt reflect my views.

Gary is cool and i dont think he would rip anyone off. He is not a bit like that other d1ckhead cmj

my age, or my intended profession or my political/enviornmental beliefs whatever it is, I get it dude, you don't care for me, if thats not the case then I have sadly mistaken every jab you have taken at me over the past 6 months

Curt if you want to move this thread to my forum that is fine with me, it's fine with me here but it is sort of off topic

Without stepping on anyones toes........We all need to realize that even though some people are charging for servicing , doing some advertising etc. We all have real JOBS and REAL lives that are outside of some of the somewhat overzellous(SP?) commitments that are made in forums. In some cases things are done just as expected and sometimes life gets in the way. I am not sticking up for anyone or trying to throw anyone under the bus. I personally have waited 5 times longer for stuff than I thought I should have but I haven't been burned yet, all toghther anyway. We all have lives outside this forum and things that are more important.

The good thing I see is for the most part that everyone is eventually following through with their agreements and that is a good thing. The last real dishonest jackass I remember is that f*ck over at the other site that was trying to sell ECP's and not actually sending them out.

You are terribly mistaken. I like you just fine. When customers start threads wondering where their order is, or where the seller is, I usually comment--regardless of who it's about. Sorry, I can't help it.

Seriously Gary, I think you should answer your e-mail. If you had done so, you never would've had this problem. People that send other people money, and haven't received anything in return, generally don't like being ignored.
