Make sure Moome repack's it in a new box. I've had camera's rejected by custom's that have then been sent again in the same box, only to be rejected a 2nd time. Turned out $80 more for shipping and the 3rd time was the charm.

Update: I just got an email from Moome that said he delayed sending the test card back out to you as he discovered a couple of small bugs in the software and fixed them first (instead of you finding them for him). It's gone out now and you should have it next week. He didn't give me the @#$@#* tracking number however like I asked for. I'll ask again....

Guys, I have very disturbing news to report.
About a week ago I sent Moome an e-mail basically stating that if this card wasn't to ship by the end of this month, then please refund my money.
Today I received this e-mail;
"We have wait a new metal for XG-FULLHD, we have add a LED indicator on it, so old panel can not use."
This sounds to me like a complete replacement of the face plate for some silly LED.
I cannot understand the logic here, nor am I going to try...anyway, just thought you'd like to know.
Looks like this card is still just a wish, and perhaps all these excuses are just that.

Maybe what he meant that getting the new faceplate is why it wasn't done before now.

No card yet but I'm keeping myself happy by following your 'greyscale' thread Kal. I'm using the Eye 1 D2 sensor and this is the first time using any sensor that I got reasonable readings. I think the key was positioning it 3-4" from the screen.

Wow! It's certainly well traveled! Looking forward to some impressions of this card though I know it can't be discussed here at this time.

Me Too!! Any ideas as to how long the test plan is? If after two weeks there are no issues, are the rest of the cards going to ship? A month? Has that been determined?
thanks,
cj

Moome deems the card 100% tested and completed. This is only the final verification by someone who knows XG's and has an eye for detail. If Jerry doesn't find anything after, say, a week or so of testing then I'd say they're ready to go. Hopefully Moome will have the cards back from the factory soon (if not already) and can load the latest firmware and start shipping on time. (He said they'd ship in April 2008).

Yeah, that sounds close to about right...he sent me an e-mail stating the new metal was two to three weeks out.
I would think if everything fits as it should, they'll ship after that.

Can Jerry comment about whether or not he was able to get the card installed and up and running? Can he comment at all about the gamma correction? Can you tell there are a few of us really chomping at the bit for this card?
