I own it

In VHS and DVD

Still bad.

Kind of like a train wreck. You want to look away but you just can't.

Anyone else seen it?

hell no. but i did see "The Villan" with Ann Margaret, Kirk Douglas and Ahnold the Governator.

when i worked that summer in northern ontario, every second saturday they drove us into town to wander the streets, not get arrested and see a movie in the one theatre available. i remember that one week it was meatballs and another week it was The Villan.

it was 20 years before i'd agree to see a movie with Arnold in it. What a piece of wood.

okay. so this has nothing to do with Rustler's Rhapsody, but i thought you meant "the villan" and had written this up before i realized that you meant a different movie. darn. it's been a very long day at work and i don't feel like tossing this away.

so avoid both. treat this as a public service announcement.

I think the movie that sticks in my mind as the worst is Freddy Got Fingered, I cant believe I sat thru that movie. Another recent movie I thought sucked was the Reno 911 movie, Ive seen some of the shows and they seemed alright, but that movie sucked. On the other hand I liked descent, it wasn't the best movie Ive seen in a long time and was kinda slow to start, but once they got into the cave it was pretty good

I attempted to watch "Cold Mountain" the other night.....I hate it when the Blue Jays play on the west coast.

Academy Awards or not, halfway through I went and swept out the garage because it was more interesting than the darn movie. The opening scene...big violence, huge explosion, plenty of shooting....had me interested, but alas it was all a facade.

My vote is for "Fountainhead". Very serious movie released in 1949, based on the Ayn Rand book, great cast (Gary Cooper, Patricia Neil, Raymond Massey), very painful movie for me to watch, it's Sooooo unintentially campy!

Thumbs Up

Of course, to mention "Plan 9 from outer space" or "Attack of the killer tomatoes" would be too easy... 8)

I'll always consider the original "Karate Kid" a classic 80's movie, quite quotable. One of my favs "Karate yes or karate no, never karate maybe."

But the other day I was channel surfing and came across the 3rd K'Kid in the series, can't remember the title.

Can't say I watched it all but wow...that was bad.

hmm, that's kind of surprising chuck. Sounds like as soon as the shooting and car chases stop you lose interest? Laughing
Cold Mountain had me pretty much riveted the whole time, and I felt the academy awards were well deserved. It painted a picture of this country's Civil war that hadn't been told yet, at least not realistically. As good as the movie was, I couldn't watch it again. From my perspective as a Dad, any movie where they shoot little kids and torture baby's is too much. Sad
I haven't seen any really crap movies in a long time, at least not since my wife brought home "Devil Wears Prada" and I only suffered through 5 minutes of that sh*t. I think I can spot a stinker before it ever gets into my Nerflix Queue. As much as I love watching a good movie, life's too short to sit through someone elses mindless nonsense.

C'mon man! The Karate Kid movie is what got me into car detailing.

"Wax on, wax off."
Very Happy

Cutthroat Island. Pirate movies don't get any worse than this. Bankrupted a studio and put the brakes on Geena Davis' career. Prime example of how not to make a movie.

OK, the wife and I just caught POTC: At World's End this afternoon. And I have to say this one goes on the stinker list.

POTC: Curse of the Black Pearl was a *fabulous* movie. Great story, tight script, hilarious situations & characters, and it all worked great.

POTC: Dead Man's Chest was OK but definitely didn't live up to the original IMHO.

POTC: At World's End was a confused mess. 16 different plotlines going in every possible direction, all kinds of confusing situations and references, and mostly lame humor. My wife whispered to me at one point "I'm not following this very well." I said "There's a good reason for that." What a shambles.

Lord of the Flies Thumbs Down WTF was that about..........

Years ago, when I was home sick (I really was sick) the kids turned that on and I watched it.

Damn I wish I had that time back. I could have done something more productive like watching the grass grow...
