Newbie question - Can a curved screen be used with a crt projector? Any advantages/ Disadvantages to using such a screen? Or is a flat screen the overall best surface to use.
Confused

1) yes
2) higher gain, better image with some lower power machines-some older models were designed for curved/torus screens
3) small ideal viewing position with small screens, gets better at IMAX size screen
4) this probably depends on your projector /setup/application, I prefer a flat screen for my movie viewing,my projector can throw a large bright image and the family can sit in the light controlled room and enjoy,,,, but I have often thought that one of those old torus screens with projector that could properly project on it would make a great immersive image for flight sim or game playing!!!
