Ah ok. So it's from the HD TNT Broadcast?
So there isn't an LOTR HD Trailer out there?

Does no one have some CRT screenshots of "Casablanca" or "The Wild"?
I'm especially interested in seeing screenshots of "The Wild" Blu-Ray on something like a Marquee 8500 or Barco 1208. My Barco won't arrive before next Sunday and I just saw The Wild on 2 slightly different Plasma TVs. One with 1080p in/output and one with 1080p input and 720p output and a special covered panel to raise the contrast ratio to a stunning 15.000:1. No need to say that the 720p set looked indeed much more colourful and no less detailed.
I hope The Wild will look the same on my Barco as on the 720p Plasma, as I'm a big fan of colourful scenes.

With decent setup you new PJ should look very good.
I guess none of the screenshots we posts here are even close to what we actually see on the screen.

Thanks.
But I always read one thing saying that CRT looks somehow soft and natural and Plasma doesn't.
Is this really the point? I thought a Plasma would be the nearest neighbour of the CRT (PQ/sharpness wise).
I haven't seen a CRT projector till date but hopefully it won't look as bad/soft as the uncalibrated digitals in my local electronics store.
I would expect the same level of detail and the same sharpness and natural image quality I could get with a Plasma. Am I right on this?

No. The plasma will be much sharper due to the much smaller picture. The CRT though, if setup properly and calibrated to D6500 with the proper shadow detail will give you an outstanding picture although not as sharp as a plasma. The contrast ratio on the CRT as well depending on your viewing environment will be MUCH higher than the plasma.

And what if I project a picture as small as on the Plasma?
I know it's not the way a projector is intended to be used but I think I'll drive my projector no further than 50" as I don't have the place right now (not before my movement which will happen in July).
Another thing is the colour gamut. I know this is pretty high on a CRT projector. So I should get a natural, warm picture (like a LCD/Plasma with a special super-clear panel to raise the contrast.) , right?
