I hardly qualify to comment on images like these, but I'm going to say it anyway, it looks good. The exception would be with him laying down with is eyes closed, because the rocks on the last 4-5 inches on the left looks soft compare to the rest of the image. But If I remember correctly, he falls backwards in slow motion there and maybe that particular shot has more focus on centre sharpness..

How will 909 lenses cut your bandwidth.?

I cant imagine anyone in this world want anything else than the lenses and yokes from a 909. Rolling Eyes

Two things- that scene has a lot of movement so still frames are not 100% perfect and secondly, I was using the DSLR auto zone focus so that might have had something to do with it (though I think the first reason is more prominent). I have my electronic and optical focus as good as can be; amazing what that reveals in certain films. Cinema photography definitely varies from film to film; sadly becoming less important as so much becomes CGI.

Because I'm paying him 250$ for an overhaul with my VIM03 while it still there.. and doing so makes the overhaul with the VNB ever so more important too.

Do you understand how to setup and run these boards, or would you pay Mike to go to your place get it performing.?

250$ wont pay for a hole lot of working hours, and i did not see Mike release these boards anywhere, and never seen you mentioned as a beta tester.

When I find time I will compare the hfq900 to the gt17 on a 100 inch screen. Will also play with the 1292 and barco yokes. But I need some help with the testimages.

I have both the HD10E, HD10F and GT17, and all of them will do, its not the place to look for big changes, and on a standard projector its a waste of time playing with it.

Taking on my other camera. Totally untouched and showing whatever that is on both sides in my CRT's.

Using my special 02 VIM (280mhz) into my 300mhz neck boards
