Well, not quite yet. Wait 'til I do the next three rounds of mods....then I'll be ready for the Ampro.

You think it'll still be working by then..Mr. Green

The only mods to the beast is the neck boards to use the Thomas tubes, R and G c-elements and cooling.

Here are some more. Sent my i1 pro to be checked out. Not sure what the issue is but i know if i could get it all done with a probe instead of by eye it look much better and the blend zone would totally disappear. its still there in dark pans and in bright scenes. This is why you never see me post a full sky shot etc...

Chronicles of Narnia Movies are my Favorite reference discs. Great Cinematography and colors along with a top notch transfer.

More to follow

Got Blend?

I did this on the Sony about 2 minutes before my arcing issue started, about 20 minutes of operation after installing 9.9 rated 07MS tubes....

Was taken with a pretty average camera, quite average to say the least.... Laughing

I'm not going to post any screenshots at this time as my PJ is coming due for a variety of upgrades including a much needed coolant change in the blue LC chamber. It's getting green around the edges.

AFTER it gets its upgrades and is back up to its full capabilities, I'll have some pics to show you. I fully expect those pics to be as good as any that have been seen here so far.

But, I'd like to suggest that you should definitely use Planet 51 as some demo/screenshot material. It's a great flick and absolutely
stuffed full of eye candy as well.

not my focus module, just some quick static focus no dynamic changes were made.
dont mind the blue haze it is clouded glycol.

edit: horizontal lines are from the camera (5volt adapter, it needs 3 1/2)
lots of ambient light and all white walls.
contrast is at 65

Hi Guys, I finally got the Radiance XS's hooked up and figured out some bugs in Calman v4. I still have an issue where my i1 pro does not like to read the 75% IRE red to well. So i will attempt another calibration with all 100% gamut windows. i had to turn the probe to face the screen with no filter to get a decent consistent reading and adjustment. And then i checked again facing the screen and it actually read a bit better but still not each time.

I did a couple runs on the left PJ and only one on the right. there is a slight luminance difference and that makes a huge difference in getting a perfect blend zone. But this is by far the best i have had it. And with no Zone contrast modulation done. I still have to decide how i want to tackle that one. To bad Calman v4 did not interact with the marquee and two probes to do the zone contrast. I think I need andre to write the code for that Wink

So for now this is the best I got, and the usual suspects screen shots of my favorite reference disc The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince caspian.

My Personal favorite screen frame to use.

More to come, didn't want to fill up one post.

Hi Dennis, looks like you have brightness to high and your washing out the colors. But fungus laden blue Glycol chamber is not helping at all. You will not be able to get white balance done correct with it.
