From my NEC MT-1050 lcd...hahaha, no need for any "gamma" or component transcoders...really shows how good an image can look in a screen shot, eh ?

No, at the left side of her face, you can see the tell-tale signs of it being a digital projector. Only screendoor gives this sort of interference in a downsized photo

Looks really good! Just wondering what 300 is listed under? Regular movies because I could not find it anywhere on the live marketplace. |

Had it not been for the eye roll, I would have assumed this was a joke. Ask Kal to add an ignore feature.

A few from my 1209s (15 minute convergence job since it was installed so please bear with me...)
Also note the wear on the right side of the screen. These tubes will be swapped with P19LUGs soon.

Someone did a frame grab from the 1080P PS3 clip. So here's an extracted frame the original scene (below) vs. my screenshot (above) of a projected image on a screen taken with a digital camera...
Not the exact same frame, but close enough to compare. I wish I had the PS3 so I could get this clip in 1080P.
Looks like my camera overexposed the top of the helmet... unless the lighting of the scene is changing there. I thought the bright scene in front of the shield looked overexposed, but that's the way it really looks. The amount of sparks definitely changes in the scene. And a red push throughout. But overall, not a bad rendition of the original.

Well, it looks like I may be getting my G90 up and running as soon as tomorrow (crossing fingers). In the mean time I've been enjoying my G70 on the coffee table
I don't have the knack for taking screenshots that some people do, but I snapped a few last night anyway.

I agree... great shots from Mark and Brian (hey, that was the name of the morning DJ's in B'ham ~'85, then they moved to LA while I was living in CA in ~'89.
Scary... they're still out there...

Thanks Clarence.. I think that there was a "Mark and Brian" show down here in South Florida a few years ago as well... I wonder if they were the same guys in CA??
Clarence, do you still have the windows background which has the closeup of the woman's eye?? I used to have it on my other HTPC but when I upgraded the HD, I lost the .jpg of that file.
If you have it could you please email it to me? Just in case my email is bttek@bellsouth.net
TIA!!
