Yes the image is the best I've had, I am in awe of these beasts.
One of the biggest things I've noticed with the stack is the added 3d feel, It's much more visible than a single 1209 which they replaced. I actually had a friend come over and demo them and his words were " Is this 3d, I thought you needed glasses"

As good as the new JVC's are, I don't know how they perform in this department.

From scratch? Well take one 9 inch and double it lol.
but aligning the 2 isnt that difficult, COG makes life easier.

I love the brightness that the stack setup allows. Huggy you're pics do look great. I wish the convergence controls on the 1209s were finer though. It would have been great if the convergence controls wersimiliar to the system that was used by NEC. My first projector was a 6pg.
