Kal do you want to borrow my copy so you can get the shots you want

Thanks for the offer, but I'll have my own copy soon enough... just thought it would be good to get some shots out there now.

Ok - even though I own a Barco, this looks like it very likely will be useful in understanding it. And then maybe I'll be able to stop asking idiot questions.

Wife said, "I guess I'll see you in a couple of days". Good girl she is. She wants me to hurry and finish so we can start on remodeling the kitchen... Shocked

Got mine today. It should have occurred to me that, being from Australia, this would be in the PAL format. So make certain you're PAL capable!

I don't know if it's the disc or player, but the sound in the first section, Lens Cleaning, broke up all the time. This is the only section I've watched so far. Probably my player.

Graham tells me that it'll play on any DVD player... even the cheapo $20 jobbies. Not an issue. (It's also region free).

Region free it is. But it wouldn't play on my Panasonic E80 DVD recorder, but would on my region-free, PAL capable JVC.

Really?

Graham? What's the word here? I should update the sales page if there are some requirements around watching this thing.

Right now I say: [/i]Note: This DVD is region free and will therefore work in any DVD player worldwide[/i].

Should I add that it's PAL encoded? (I thought most DVD players could play back PAL no?)

If all else fails your PC should play it perfectly.

last I looked 90% of players made in the last 4 years will convert PAL and NTSC to just about any format you want.

Some of the older players may have a problem. But as I said above PC's should play it OK if all else fails.

Should probably mention its PAL, KAL

every DVD player in my house will play NTSC or PAL disks and will convert from one to the other.

I would expect all players made in the last 5 years should do this. Just keep in mind as well. the disks are DVD-r 's

If your player has issues with playing DVD-r's you may have a problem.

The dvd plays great on my cheap-o Insignia DVD VHS recorder.

As for watching the entire dvd, between the broken bathroom door, dripping bathtub faucets, getting the rook leak fixed, taking the wife to the hospital, I have only made it to the astig section.

But from what I have watched so far, OUTSTANDING!!! Hats off to Graham and Matthew.

BTW, what type center speaker does Matthew have? It looks wild!

Oh, and also, when I got home today, I got another DVD in the mail.

How do you want me to go about sending it back?

Finally, so far, well worth the $50.00!!!!!

My Panasonic E80 is several years old and does not play PAL. It will play DVD-R's because that's the format it records in.
