You are probably right about the printer and I have given it some thought. The only thing holding me back is I have about 6 printers bought for different things.

The bastards seem to breed, one for every purpose. I can never seem to get One printer to do everything I need. Sad

An update on DVD mailings for the next 4 weeks.

I am going to be unable to process any orders between the 10th of MAY and the 12th of JUNE.

Apologies, I will attend to these as soon as possible after the 12th.

Cheers

I am making some changes to the way this product is shipped. It is soley to contain costs which up till now I have absorbed.

The DVD will now be supplied as DVD only without the second service manual disk. Also, the disk will be shipped via disk alone in a disk envelope rather than a DVD case.

Sorry to do this but rising postal costs have hit hard and have resulted in a huge increase in costs.

I see this is supposedly on sale this month, for $40 shipped. Yet when I go to PayPal, it still says $50 total. Perhaps someone could fix this?

It does say free shipping to anywhere in the world, yet at checkout it says $10.00 shipping/handling, making it a total of $50.00. You might want to ask Graham himself by emailing him at: setup_dvd@curtpalme.com

Tim's right: It was wrong. I fixed it. It should be $40 total shipped.

I am up to date with posted disks as of the 15th. They should be arriving soon. Since I went back to envelope style posting containers the mail is VERY fast typically less then 7 days.

Happy New year. Smile

When are we going to get one for the marquee 8500 9500? Wink

I'd shell out hard cash fast for that. Shocked

I mean so fast it is already in your pocket and buying you dinner.

Hint, hint.

The DVD is still available from this site. See the listing along with the other vendors goods in the for sale section.

While the DVD is centred around the Sony 1292. Many of the concepts are universal and are easily transported projector to projector. It will help witn a BARCO.

There will NOT be another version for other brands of projectors. Given the sharply contracting market for CRT projectors I doubt an investment would return a payoff.

Graham,

Just wanted to thanks you for a truly excellent DVD. Thumbs Up

After sudden unexplicable demise of my beloved Barco 808 I decided it it was time to move up to 9" for full 1080P, when I discovered what 1292s were going for now I realised I could upgrade for the cost of shipping and repairing my defunct 8" so I took the plunge and bought a 1292 on Ebay last month.

Long story but to compensate for some delays with packing and shipping the seller threw in his copy of your setup DVD as a sweetener.

I just want to say it is absolutely excellent! By far the best and most helpful thing I have come across in my four year CRT obsession. In one weekend following the clear step by step demonstrations in Graham's DVD I have set up my 1292 better than I managed with months of trawling though forums for advice and tips.

Feeling guilty Embarassed about not having bought the DVD from you directly I thought I should at least give it a plug.

Anyone out there with a 1292 that doesn't have Graham's DVD buy it.

Thanks
Lachlan

P.S. Does anyone happen to live in Singapore and want a dead Barco 808 for parts? Free to a good home no idea whats wrong with it!

Wish I lived in Singapore. I'd gladly take you up on your offer. I'm looking for a projector.
Thanks anyway

Confused Very sorry, I havent got one. My French would be a lot worse than your English.

Maybe there is someone in Canada who can help with a few explainations?
