Hello to everyone. nd, I hope that all is well.

Curiosity has got the better of me and I m looking to confirm if viewing 3D content, particularly Blu-Ray movies, is possible with a Marquee 8500 via a Moome (version 2) input card.

As always, Thank You for all of your insights.

Cheers ⭐

Nope.

You need a video processor of some sort (like a Radiance) to process the 3D and turn it into something the projector can understand. Then you also need somewhere to plug in an emitter for 3D glasses.

The IFB-FULLHD v3 Moome HDMI card for Sony projectors did give you a place to plug in a 3D glasses emitter but the Marquee version of the Moome HDMI card doesn't have 3D emitter support. You can read more on the Moome sony card page here: http://www.curtpalme.com/IFB-FULLHD.shtm

Never understood the 3D fad. I found it a total distraction and diminished the movie viewing experience. A well setup and calibrated 9 incher in a room with total light control gives me all the '3D effect' I want or need.
