Other than raster centering all other setup I think has to be performed with the PJ in place.
Looking at the setup I don't know if one can take the cover off leaving the PJ in place. Once the cover is off it will be tight and awkward but you should be able to access the Scheimpflug H & V screws with a small wrench.
I thought once on the internet it was there forever. But not Brian's guide. So I hope he does not mind.
