At the moment I'm 95% definite, will be there Friday til Monday. Girlfriend is about 40% convinced she'll come. She says she prefers to stay in New York over that weekend.
Your theatre looks terrific. I thought I told you I was jealous in the other forum? I'd love to do an AT screen, but am not completely convinced on them yet. I think I'll need to see/hear one in person first before deciding.
I believe Andres is using the SmX material for his 14-15' wide monster blend. I'll be over in Spain helping him out the week before I go the east meet... I'll be able to see 3 blendzilla's in 3 continents in the space of 3 weeks!!
Your speakers really make the screen look small

Really looking foward to meeting you Gino. I envy you for being able to travel in this way. How cool is that? Unfortunately, the wife and 3 kids hold me down a bit so vacation is not an option.
That's awesome that Andres has opted to use SMX. He will not be disappointed one bit. Make sure you drink one for me while your there!
I LOVE my sound system. I scored big time with such a low cost compared to the high end systems I've heard and it's 90% the sound for a fraction of the cost. Maybe you woiuld consider an extra day and 100 bucks for a ticket to Chicago to see what a stack can do? I should have her fully up and running by then.
Looking foward to meeting you in may Gino. Let's crash the party in a BIG way!

I'd definitely consider visiting Chicago for a day, especially to see a single G90 let alone a stack. Trouble is when to fit it in. At the moment, we will be in Spain for 7-10 days before the meet, then fly into New York on May 4. I'll make my way to the meet that evening, and then leave there monday morning. This leaves only a couple of days in NY til we have to leave to get back to work May 11th. I'm not too fussed about spending time in NY, I've been there twice before, but this leaves monday to friday to visit you, and I guess you'd be working then.

If that's really the case, let me know asap, as I should be confirming my flights in the next day or two. Which day would suit? How are you getting to the meet and which day?

Cliff's probably going to fly in to Dulles/IAD on Friday night (4 May). I'll pick him up at the airport and we'll probably drink too much wine, too many microbrews, and stay up way too late in my HT. But that should help get it out of our systems so we won't be too far out of control at the meet on Saturday (5 May).
I'm an early riser... even if we party until 4am, I'll probably be at the meet first thing in the morning to help MP set up, and then come back and kick Cliff out of the guest room after lunch.
And then on Sunday (6 May), we'll probably swing back by just to see if there are any new faces that we didn't meet on Saturday, or maybe additional sources that we didn't get a chance to play with or compare. Like a side-by-side with SMX vs some other screen materials.

It will be good to meet you too Clarence! My plans are to be there both days, and likely offer assistance on friday night at Will's.
The girlfriend is now 60% likely to come along

Yep big dog, just like Clarence said, I'll probably fly out on Friday night May 4th and head to his place so if you want, maybe you could come through on Thursday?

The thursday before the meet? Hmm... will speak to the travel agent to see if we can fit that in, all day thursday or just evening? Do you have a spare room? How close are you to Chicago airport?

I was thinking? Is it too close for you? We could do a day/evening out of it.
I'm about an hour away from Midway Airport, 35 minutes from the Gary, Indiana airport, and about probably an hour and 20 minutes from Ohare airport. I could put you and your lady up in Parker's room if you want, but if not, you guys have plenty of nice hotels around to stay in. :^)
I'll be flying out of Midway Airport on Friday to head to Clarence's place for the night.

I'll speak to the travel agent and see how things will all fit it, we seem to be squeezing a lot into a small amount of time. Will let you know how it goes.

Cliff, we should be able to go to Chicago on Thursday 3rd of May, then leave for VA on Friday. (Taxes flying around the US are insane!) What time suits you? We'll find out if we can get to Gary airport tomorrow morning.
Are you sure it's cool if we crash at your place? Trying to save $$ to afford the stop over in Chicago.

Gino,
When you get the car at midway and are leaving the airport - drive extremely fast (3x speed limit) for the first 20 mins.
Lock the doors - put razor wire on the outside of the car and pray (a lot).
I also recommend weaving in a random manner - helps to throw off their aim.

Dude , dont scare the guy, Gino normal city caution is all that you'll need. Use common sense and you'll be fine.
