Hello all,

My Sony 1292 is shifting its picture either with or with no source every 4-5 seconds around the edges from left to right.

Could this be caused by a bad EA board? (the small left board on the PSU) ?

Perhaps check for loose connection around the horizontal deflection connectors?

Hi Gjaky, where exactly would I find the horizontal deflection connectors? Want to be sure I am checking the right things here:)

Dear Gjaky,

I doublechecked, wiggled, pushed every connection visible including a bit of turning and twisting on the adjusters / yokes on the tubes- this indeed fixed the shaking issue.

However! now I have something new, the test pattern lines are not so sharp anymore, what could this be?

Really seems this machine wants me to stop working on it:(
