Hello i have noticed that the barcographics 808 has rgbs input which is also on scart. Can you use a scart rgbs to bnc rgbs adapter. I know the wiring is the same but i am not sure the signal is the same.

Yes, I've hooked up an 8 bit gaming console via its scart RGBS outputs to a Barco 701s.
Depending on the signals from the source, you may need to try whether composite video or separate sync gives you the best sync into the S port.
