I've never had a Barco CRT projector. I am hoping to get a 909 at some point in time.

If the BG909 could actually resolve that resolution, then 2 BG909 in a blend would easily produce a native 4K image (4096x2160, not that crap UHD 3840x2160 resolution).
Unfortunately, awesome Barco projectors are even more rare than awesome G90's, so I'll have to make do with the G90 :thumbsp:

Yes on the whole ebay there is zero. I wonder where they went, to expensive to scrap and to rare to sell?

We still would be challenging bandwidth limits.
I am looking for a 909 and tube condition does not matter. I have tubes for it.

More like, most people who had the 909s didn't realize that they have applications in the home theater market, so they got disposed of locally to the local recycler. Shipping is expensive, too.
Some survived. I'll get one eventually.
If you have a suitably smart processor, some bandwidth MAY be saved by not scanning the letterbox bars above and below the active image area, but I think that would require customized setups for every specific encoded aspect ratio/letterbox combination.

I have a 909 and a 919. Great machines. The 919 is on the ceiling.
