Will be interesting to see if its a total rip off of Empire. Rogue One was far better than Force Awakens in my opinion and there's nothing in the trailer for Last Jedi that gives me any hope that this trilogy is going to break new ground. Of all the people involved I'm most disappointed with Lawrence Kasdan; never would have expected him to turn in such a shoddy script for TFA.

Truth. And my house is towards the higher end of the range for this area, and that's the softest/squishiest segment. If I was smart I would sell now. But damn, I like living here... |

Almost every movie today is a total rip off of something that made a lot of money before. That's what franchises are all about, tried and true formula you know will sell movie tickets, burgers, a clothing line, you name it. With hundreds of millions on the line, investors don't like taking chances on movies.
Rogue was definitely better than TFA , but then again TFA sucked pretty bad.
