With Inspector Morse being dead, so, too, was John Thaw. Now the creator of the series, Colin Dexter, has passed on. What a sucky week.

you know you're hard core Brit-TV fan when even the passing of a camera boom operator brings you down. 
I like their stuff too, head and shoulders above the tripe we have to suffer thru here.
My faves recently were Crimson Field and The Last Kingdom
Only thing I'm really tired of is the Henry the 8th shite, how many more shows/series can they possibly devote to that lunatic?
