CRT Aficionados;
I am announcing the Last East Coast Blendzilla Meet, this Spring, on Saturday, May 20th. It will be my 6th and final CRT Meet, as, some time in the near future, I will be upgrading to a laser-based projector. Probably the JVC RS4500, possibly the Sony 5000ES.
I have co-ordinated this announcement with Tim Martin, and he has no problem with me having a Meet a week after his May Meet. He mentioned that any overseas visitors might want to arrange to attend both Meets on the same trip.
All are welcome to come. Like past East Coast Blendzilla Meets, this Meet will feature Don Wallace BBQ, loads of good wine and beer, and excellent comradery.
The Blend (TM) will look better than it ever has. Steve Burgess and I will spend the preceding two days checking all set up and installation settings, including a full magnetics setup,, geometry setup, and greyscale calibration.
Individuals who have expressed an interest in coming include:
Steve Burgess
Eric Green (Spanky Ham)
Kurt (from Denmark)
Several local friends
Please either PM me or post in the Meet thread if you are interested in coming.
I will post this same announcement in the AVSForum CRT Forum.
Anyone is welcome to come by on Friday, to watch/assist in the final Blend setup.
This Meet will also be dedicated to Cliffy (aka, Big Dog), who I am certain would have been there, had he still been with us.

What Kal said. It's the last CRT (Blend) Meet. Not necessarily the last Meet. Depends on when Don is avaiable.
Don, you available on May 20, to provide BBQ, plus yummy sides for my Meet?

My wife knew you were coming. So she scheduled herself to work at the winery all weekend. We can crank away!!!!!

Dear Eric;
I hope you can make it.
I'm not intending to sell my 4 Seaton Submersive 2400's, nor my 5 Seaton Catalyst 12C's.
I will have to ask Mark if he will be in the Washington DC area that weekend. I will see him at AXPONA, the weekend of April 23/24, when I pick up my new Seaton surround speakers. I will ask.
Why, pray tell, would Kurt call you an idiot? Why, pray tell, would Kurt call Craig an idiot?
I don't know that Kurt is coming. He has expressed an interest in dropping by, if he is in the USA around the time of my Meet.

I didn't think you would be selling the Seaton system. I was wondering if you were opening the meet to people who have an interest in not only CRT but Seaton speakers.
If you are going to Axpona, then you should try to hook up with Craig. Badger him into driving out to attend the show. 
As for Strids, he called me an idiot over on AVS a year or so ago. I don't remember the whole discussion. He erased the post, but I read it before he did. It kind of pissed me off. This was after I told him about all those surplus pjs that he bought. Well, I told you and Rocco, but he was standing right there. I had no idea he would fly over from Europe to buy them.
As for Craig, I think he has laid into Craig in the past as well.

No, it is fine. I was pissed at the time, but I'm over it. After that, I stopped engaging him.
Personally, I am more upset with Rocco. We have one night in Dallas and now he doesn't call or write.

Hmmm
You guys must be in combat mode......I have met Steve Burgess personally and he is nice as hell, generous, and extremely smart. I have Skype'd with Kurt about five hours in the last three months and he reminds me of Steve.
