It can take years to master video chain modifications and when you do, its a good feeling when you've also mastered lowering the noise in the video chain. Especially being able to improve on both the LVPS and HVPS where you're able to really see differences afterwards. This particular video chain has a super low noise floor and it's very fast, to be only 230mhz. The 230mhz ceiling allows for an even lower noise floor. This chain also has a special Moome mod.

Oh and as can be seen, I've still not touched the focus/convergence but will be doing so next month..

OK, concerning the Mods, or my mods. Just want to say I'm going to keep doing them..

I was getting quite close to throwing in the towel, started getting tired of the constant attacks and seemingly attempts to belittle what I'm doing in hopes of promoting something better. But if not for some of you, that constantly let me know you're still with me. And regardless of how awkward and forgetful I get, you still have grace for me where I would have otherwise thrown in the towel.

Just got a message this morning showing what they thought of the boards they received, though they have not had the srt setup by their setup guy, because with the latest version some things just jumps out at you, that you've never seen before or would have expected. And that made me feel good. And the next message, though the person had been waiting, was just the best for a time like this..

And for some of the others that have contacted me about the Mods and they may have been outside your budget, If you can just wait until February gets here, I'll work with you, and figure out how we can still get you a set. Not sure how to do this for now, but I promise we'll work with you. If no more than me taking a small amount and you paying the rest to the forum over time. But I promise I'll come up with something, and I'd want to come of with something that could also benefit and help this site. Next month I'll be in a better place financially, and since not giving up on the mods, I'm thinking I'll even lower the cost and make it possible for more to get their hands on them.

And for those who I've offered an upgrade (free) and have been waiting without pressing me to have it done -- thank You! I really appreciate your heart on this and you patience knowing I've been working hard at really getting my best set done. And I have, but will still walk slow with it through this month. I know in the past there have been some workmanship issues, that including before the first of this year, I had been without a test unit for the past two to three years. That prevented me from being able to put the scope to a working chassis. So by January 2016, I had a working test bed. And some months later, someone sent and gifted me with a test jig, that allowed me top go further in looking at a working projector than Ive even been able before. Now be mindful. that I'm a troubleshooter and was well known for being one of the best. have had stuff sent to me of to-to for Sony, Electrohome, Barco and can name many others. And it's the same mindset that allowed me to go into a video circuit to find how to get the best out of it, that I've gotten into the mods. But without knowing they diagnosed me last year with a sleeping problem that was later diagnosed the first part of last year as a cognitive problem. That I was told would probably never go away. Because the damage in my liver prevented it from storing certain vitamins. So they gave me a box of pills and hypodermic needles and told me to inject these vials in my twice a week and swallow a ton other nutrients to swallow. Well the later part of last year after a steroid shot and pills the cognitive issue started to subside and I can say Ive been feeling more like myself. Not sure how this cognitive problem was really affecting me, but do remember one service trip I took to Cincinnati. After getting off the plane, I had forget what to do next. And to later find out from the medical personnel after they sent for cognitive training of classes, that the travel was out from that point. And it got worse, I would forget how to get back home from even local places, something I was struggling with anyways. Now with all that clearing up. I want to say thank you to all that have hung in there with me and still is. I owe you and I promise we're going to make this happen.

So this year Mike is back, unlike before. But I'll be walking things slower and will also be spreading things out. But think with all Ive put into this version of the Mods, I'll just stay with it to make it available for anyone who may still want my work. I'll also likje to say there are other Mods out there and maybe there should be. Im not looking for a fight or competition, only that Mike is till in the game..

I don't think such claims will ever be proven. The "better" mods are ultra secret, only one person has them, won't post photos about them, brags about them....and apparently doesn't even have any intent to do more of them for any amount of money.

In a word...vaporware and rumors, unsubstantiated with anything but anecdotal evidence from a single person who won't pony up the evidence that they even exist.

It makes no sense at all to me. If I truly invented a better mousetrap, I would try to profit from it and if I couldn't profit from it,
I'd give it to the world. Which I've actually done. I started the practice of trying different focus yokes out in Marquees for the goal of improving their focus. This Frankenstein focus yoke creation is popularly known as a "Frankenyoke".

I actually created a word that is part of the vocabulary of a certain group of hobbyists. That's the tiniest bit cool.

Any chance you or anyone else have any CRT Projector information on the Sony VPH1292? Doing some measurements and the BX-6473 on the BB (video processor) is killing the top end of the signal. I can't find any information about this chip. It's like a thick film chip. Any information would be appreciated.

Had to remove the neck boards because they are in preparation to go out. So decided to put in my VDC modified neck boards this time. A simple swap with no adjustments at all. Just thought I'd take a few shots anyway.

And let me not forget that I'll be installing the Green LUG this month and that will allow me to have all matching tubes..

Below is the prescription I got for nutrients they said I needed. I'm posting this so others could avoid what I went through, because the symptoms I had were very Dementia like and that could have been my diagnosis, but my physical health was a little different from someone with this condition, even though I am in my sixties. They sent me to an Integrative Medicine Specialist who got to the bottom of this and that is how I got the nutrients instead of he Dementia Meds.

And this guy was great in explaining everything and helping me get to a better place. There were also other consults that dealt with cognitive training or other non-medicine therapy. After getting the hypodermic solution to taking B12 shots, I had that done twice a week at the clinic, but still had B12 pills and D3 and B complex to take, oh and Fish Oil. The sleeping problem got better with the B vitamins and he had me take a MagneGel (magnesium) that I rubbed about a quarter sized area on my skin about an hour before going to bed. The Magnesium was the better sleep solution, with only a very small amount on your skin and about an hour later I'm out.

At present I'm only taking B Complex, Fish Oil, D3 and B50 (complex). No other meds.

I'm sharing this because the Integrative Medicine guy said that I lot of people go misdiagnosed and then treated for early stage Dementia when they are really suffering from D vitamin and B Vitamin deficiency. My primary even forgot to test for vitamin levels. And my D vitamin levels were the worse and lead to me taking I think a massive daily dose.

I would have never thought something as simple as a vitamin deficiency could be so serious. He gave me the Fish Oil as it also contains Vitamin D, but I later found out after taking the Fish Oil that a pain in my neck after a rear end accident went away, to include the hip pain and pains in my knees. The Fish Oil just removed all my joint aches, that I had accepted as normal for my age.

So on any and all Hospital Physicals as to have a vitamin level taking especially if you are of older age. Again, if not for me being sent to that Specialist, I would most likely be swallowing a bunch of pharmaceutical pills (and some would have been anti-depressive).

The vitamin levels improved but took nearly a year for best results. And I can also say that earlier last year I stopped taking this stuff and threw the box in a corner and that's when thing got worse, and was slowly corrected when I got back on the stuff on the in the Box.

Make sure you have your vitamin levels checked and to be safe, make sure you're taking vitamin D as a supplement. Very affordable stuff too..


** Let me add that I'm not posting my medical situation as being an excuse for anything, though that may have been the case in the past. I don't want it as a reason for the past year or so, maybe even going back two years. Anything I've done during that period I can't say would have been affected from my condition. Or I'm not will to fault this to it. And in the past two years I've not done really much, and that would explain why there's only a few complaints. Overall, and in spite of a few problematic boards, that was pretty solved a little over a year ago, with the results being to not continually modify the same boards. To me even not modifying some boards at all. And that is why I've been asking people to send me a picture of your boards. A lot of those problem are now behind us, with me lately having quite a few people just waiting on me to get to that point were I'll say I've finished this particular version.

Actually paranoia was on the cognitive list, but in your case just like when that word has been mentioned to me by the other person, who kept telling me they were not going to be doing Mods... they said they don't know enough about video circuits so would never start doing Mods. I had asked that because I was told 3 different times they they were intended to do their own Mods, and each time I asked, I was told I was being paranoid. Well, we all know how that turned out.


Not sure why you would purchase the Mods from me knowing you have connections going with someone who's against me and then later try to expose something in our conversation on an open forum. Your correspondence shows that you're very happy with the Mods, yet you feel you should expose me for being paranoid after later finding out you have close ties with my attackers.

No one is interested in analyzing your latest mod. I lost contact because I bought a mod from you.
But you accused me of something, and it wasn't the first time you done that.

you forced me to contact him to ask if those allegations are true.

I asked CMJohnson about those ELCAN lenses, he directed he to him and ask.

He told me that you had an unpaid projector from him and that it's ok to part the projector out and send the lenses to me.

I still didn't received the pics of those lenses . can you please shoot a few closeups of them.

Still knocking out noise. I tracked down another noise coming out the LVPS, but had to kill it on the chassis. It's my second grounding done on the chassis.
