Proper removal of a Barco splitter

I looking for some advice on the proper removal of a Barco 7617447 splitter, more specifically the Teflon wire that is soldered on.

Unsolder the shield and the middle wire off the two solder points, that's all there is to it. DO NOT cut the wire, it's a pain to try and strip.
