Interesting concept.

If it had caught on, just imagine the possibilities.

An all-tube TV with just ONE tube. Lots of pin connections for all the various rectifiers, diodes, triodes, tetrodes, pentodes, and compactrons, but all those tube elements combined into the CRT envelope.

I'm so glad that didn't catch on!
