Lol that is funny. Usual there is a little written text on the board that says hé I am the bad connection! Not.

You can find it by inspecting a board but takes someone with experience in electronics.

duh get it. So if i'm lucky it's the 708 CRT socket/video amp?

Yes good chance you would have to buy one from Curt but that is cheap.

On the other hand you could take my offer for the 809 and do a huge step forward Very Happy

Well it is the smaller brother the 809 Wink

You get lenses with a small problem for free. Curt has usable 9 inch CRT's for almost nothing. The tubes you see on the picture have logo burn and are not usable. I am afraid going 9 inch will still cost something.

and were do you find the bad connection if it's that case?

About all it can be here is the white connector that goes to the input board may have pulled out a bit, but I doubt it. As redfox says, you can't see a bad part/connection without doing some signal tracing.

so i have to do some signal tracing, check for loose connections and maybe replace the amp that you sell ok

Try this:

Interchange the white connectors between the red and green tube on the board. Be very careful not to bend a pin on the input board, that's very easy to do. It won't damage anything if you do, you can bend it back, but that can cause another problem in the set.

if it is the neck board, then the problem will stay with the same tube. If it's on the input board, then the dead tube will switch to the other one.

That's really about all the testing you can do, and almost guaranteed it's the neck board (CRT socket)

Yes at this point I do not know what tubes I can sell here. I have some but they are pretty good so not free. You could get a green for free with fast phosphor.

component output on a blue ray player is limited to 480P on regular DVD, component video is capable of 1080P but the firmware will not scale up DVD thru the analog out jacks.
Thank the industry lawyers for this brainless feature

Over there that would be 576P at 50Hz, but yes a completely stupid 'feature' on Bluray players.

are you referring to the stripes, AKA "Scan lines" , as noise or is there a different noise your talking about?
If it's just scan lines, that's normal. When resolution is lower the retrace lines get bigger and more visible.
