Among my other obscure interests lay Amiga. Not that popular in their home country but king in Europe during the '90s. My new A4000 proses a new video problem for me. Custom graphic cards made for the Amiga sources the local PAL/NTSC signal from the motherboard, line-doubles it and passes it onto the same VGA port as the graphic card itself would for backwards compability. This way hard-coded games and programs (many many many) that uses the built in PAL/NTSC graphics work seamless with custom software and the graphical environment. Using a monitor with both composite and VGA in and switch between is the by far cheapest.

Is there a way to do this seamless, like genlocking in the PAL/NTSC image over the VGA or finding a PCI graphics card which can pass though PAL/NTSC? All suggestions are welcome!
