Post a pic of the whole rear end, i cant see which card is missing from the set, but it looks like Port 3 is not in there, and by the lack of wire in the switcher and RGB board area, id say the LIMO-PRO is missing too.

No, the unit have limo+decoder and port3 boards.
I've pulled these boards but today I'll try to re-insert.

I have a Cine7 that no working when I pull his decoder board.

However I'd reconnect the wire from motherboard to input board but the CineMax show same issue that I checked yesterday.

I would also disconnect the port 3 and limo for testing. The most likely you have a cable wrong connected to the limo.

I checked several times the layout with help of service manual and I've tried to pull limo+decoder and port3 boards also, without success.
The previous owner never touch anything, the projector from time ago no longer work.

So I think that the issue is in one board not in wrong connections.

Do you have a spare switcher to test or a switcher from a 1209s or a 808s? The 808s would have to be checked if it is compatible. You can also check the cable itself from switcher to controller perhaps a loose wire?

If you do not have spares I think among others Hulio might be wanting to help or Curt.

Yes I have and tried to swap, no fix

Yes, the mistery is solved. The cable connect the motherboard (and controller) at RGB input+swiching board.

Yes but it seems you do not have the menu's injected from the controller. Perhaps the cable itself is broken? Did you check all wires with a meter? Did you make sure there is no corrosion on the connector pins?

mmmmhhhhhh the controller is connect with motherboard with big slot in the tray.
However it's a good suggest. I'll try to check that cable. [/b]

Try also reseating the controller tray.

If you get stuck, I can test and repair boards for you. I have a full stock of 909/Cinemax boards.

Since there are few 909 parts out there, and the chassis is (almost) completely different than any other Barco, there's really not much troubleshooting you can do without spare boards.

As per your first picture, you do have raster and HV, so it's not a deflection or HV issue. It's a video issue, which can be caused by about 5 different boards in the set, or by the controller board. You can try disconnecting each of the CRT neck boards one at a time to see if that is shutting down the video, but I have a feeling it's one of the main video boards or the controller board. A fault on any of those boards will cause exactly what you're seeing in your first picture.

Tried to disconnect one at time each neck. Same issue.
So Curt you thing that the issue could be in one of boards below:

RGB input
RGB driver
Vertical
Horizontal
Controller.

Correct?

I don't think it's the H or V board. I do suspect the others though. It will only be one of the three, but without swapping, it's impossible to narrow it down further than that.

There are many problems within any CRT projector that do not cause the set to shut down. Shutdown only occurs typically if a deflection fault or other serious tube-damaging fault is detected. In this case, there's raster, but no video, so the set has no need to shut down, nor would it most likely indicate an error LED or message on the screen (if there was video).
