So, a year went by just like that since I had everything ready (colored C-elements and scheimpflug housings) to be hoisted to the ceiling. Got some help from a friend yesterday and now it hanging there but I realized that the last thing I did was to pull the ROM, read out the contents and post it here on the forum. Now I can't find it. Sad

No problem, I'll just write a new one. No luck. Tried both 27C040 and a 27c801 with the same results - constant rebooting. Don't know if my original read out went wrong but I remember looking at the contents and found on screen messages in plain text so I assumed it was all there.

Does anyone have a spare ROM or complete controller for a 1209/2?

Great!

I just tried to provide a service for fellow CRTers but it came back and bit me.

Intent = +1
Result = not so much...
