I went to turn on my barco data 808 and noticed it would not power on. So I started to unscrew the bottom of the case to try and open it up and reseat the cards and water starts pouring out of it! My dishwasher above the room was leaking into the basement onto the projector though the left side of the case
Anyway is my projector done forever or can It be salvaged? It seems to be dried out but will not power on.
I get a red power light on the back of the 808 that says its in standby
The attached Remote has no backlight it, ie dark and will not turn ion when pressing
The standby key on it. The remote standby key doesnt work either.
The diagnostic LEDs show a red light for standby on but nothing else.
Any ideas?

Check the fuses.

Pull the whole lot out and be sure it is completely dry before you attempt anything else.

Unless you have no insurance on it, I'd write this off. Muddy water dumped into a projector can continue to damage the motherboard and boards long after it's dry.
If nothing else, pull the projector down, take all boards out, pop off the bottom to expose the motherboard's backside, and see how much damage is done. You most likely can get it running again, but who knows for how long.
