i was intrestied in gaming purposes With guns on 72 inch crt khz signal on Televisions same hz for crt projecting
i understand by using a vga card that support diffrent vga modes and using a Board i can split it to 15khz and get the lines for ligth gun to support guncon or other Device on my computer.
i am intrested in buying a barco crt projector.
i have alle the guns coming and most of the consoles
i am ready
i read that older projectors dont use teqnology to postprocess upscale image so 1980 cool for 15 khz and duck hunting

Almost all CRT projectors display an unchanged 15.7kHz signal, with the exception of two Barco models that i know of, one being the Cine 9 which you wont aim for to do this, and im not sure about the 1609 but you wont find one of them anyway.
They almost all have RGB inputs, some have component, almost all have composite and s-video. All will be bright enough for gun games on a 72" 4:3 screen in my experience. I used a Sony VPH1001 on a 100" screen to play Point Blank! on the PS1 with genuine Namco Guncons for ages many years ago.

Where are you located?
CRT projectors are large and heavy. A $50 projector can easily cost you 2-4 times that amount to ship, and even 10 times that amount if going international.
When did you email Curt and how long did you wait?
No offence, if the email you wrote was anything like the PM you sent me, he probably erased it because it appeared like spam and was very hard to understand.

as i understand A standard North American video (NTSC) video signal consists of 525 horizontal lines that make up the TV image.
These 525 lines do not change whether you are watching a 14” TV or a 10’screen. This is why many larger pictures look grainy, as
or 480 pal. i can not use line doublers guns dont work is sony 700? lines good?
seleco uses sony ok

KAL, 15.7kHz for gaming is almost never 480i. 15.7kHz refers to a H scan rate and has very little to do with resolution, there are quite a lot of resolutions that are 15.7kHz rate and arcade boards especially, but also home consoles can ( and do ) operate anywhere between 50Hz and 62Hz V rate.
480i is the visible resolution of the 525 line NTSC60/PAL60 standard 15.7kHz broadcast and has no relevance to video games.
Other guy, you dont need to downconvert Sega Model 2 arcade boards from their original 24.5kHz output to use the guns. The guns will work at any H scan rate, it is the game and console that matters, and the H scan rate must match all the way through with no delays due to image processing.
The 1252 should do the job just fine. Connect the games to the RGB input and run them in their original format.
Dont buy a Seleco, alot of them will be 15.7kHz only and you need to sync at 24.5kHz and 31.5kHz as well as the usual 15.7kHz.
And forget about the NTSC/PAL thing, it is totally irrelevant. There is no NTSC/PAL in an RGB signal, and television broadcast standards are also of no importance.

This is the worst advice i have ever seen, and id be interested to know just exactly what gaming console experience you base this on...
Input lag for one, its terrible on almost every digital, ESPECIALLY the cheap ones. Makes a great game basically unplayable.
Scaling artifacts. Looks like sh*t.
Motion artifacts and motion blur. Looks like sh*t that half the time you cant really see properly.
The undeniable FACT is you cant beat a CRT for retro gaming, and there are a huge number of reasons for that.

The EMS Topgun is total rubish yes. So is the Aimtrak and the Wii based guns, although theyre a bit better than a Topgun.
You get dead perfect accuracy with a CRT based light gun system, something that will be really quite unlikely to ever appear in a digital format. Not to mension input lag, something you dont get on a CRT display with no image processing, and something a non-gamer will never ever understand. One frame of input lag can be the difference between smooth easy controls or totally unplayable frustration.
And no problem.
I too started out in CRT projectors knowing absolutely nothing at all, and its not nearly as hard to learn or as pointless as some here make it out to be. All well and good for those such people that just want to watch a movie and have no real idea about retro gaming and just how big an impact on the experience your display type has, especially when it can make the whole situation almost unplayable.
If you want a big screen for retro gaming on REAL original gaming hardware, then CRT projection is the only real option you have. Ive come to think non retro gamers will never ever understand that, and should probably give more consideration to the objective desired by the individual as well as their experience before they say "just buy a cheap digital if gaming is all you want to do"... The suggestion is plain incorrect.
Chances are if youre in the retro gaming scene and have arcade boards such as Sega Model 2 and 3, you will quite likely find CRT projectors quite easy to learn. I find it quite amusing that some people here still come along and claim it is so difficult a learning curve to maintain a CRT projector and they should give up before they start... If it was that hard, i wonder how they learned it themselves...

Maybe you mean reconditioned tubes. And confusing them with the bulbs in digital cinema projectors and also the old film projectors - of which IMAX still use both. I'm not ruling out CRT projectors being used in the odd small commercial cinema years back but I think if that was the case they'd be highly infrequent.
It seems you are mentioning some early CRT driven virtual reality headset too, able to do 3D.
