Did you get these off of the gov? I thought they usually had local shippers to take care of packing and shipping.

Yes they are gov. surplus.
They have to be picked up as is, so no help there.
I can pay a shipping Company to handle packing, but i doubt that anyone know what they are working with here, and will be able to put 2 or 3 projectors on 1 pallet, i dont feel like paying for shipping 7 pallets back here.
So it will be cheeper for me to go there pack it up, trow away the mounts and stuff who is not needet, or broke.

Keep in mind that you most likely will have to take everything with you that you purchased, mounts and all. I don't think they'll let you disassemble projectors on site, and leave stuff behind..

Be careful with that! Texans have big guns, and know how to use them. Not sure if anyone wants you to throw scrap metal into a garbage bin.

Haha wow, must say respect Kurt, and YOU SUCK
Reminds me of when I bought 4x Barco 919 SD projectors from military
At first I didn't understand why you went to Laredo yourself but now I do. Are you shipping them by boat to Denmark? Cheapest way I think but it will take 1 month I think.
It's nice to hear that you are so dedicated to this hobby If you are willing to sell one (guess not based on your earlier comments) it could be a chance to try a marquee some day for myself who knows...

Yeah ill ship by boat/ container to Denmark.
I have no intentions to sell, but who know what happens, if the parts is plenty, and i have some MP mods to spare, i might build a 9500LC ULTRA who will kick som ass, and let others bid on it.

Yes why not? Welcome aboard! I could buy an extra 909 for spareparts but it was so expensive that I was thinking if the marquee will only get the same picture as the 909 with the spare parts available and the lower power consumption and the in my eyes simpler design I have to worry less about parts failing and if I have the money to pay for them.
Totally unrelated but I just received an oppo bdp 83!

You know I am just thinking out loud, but Rocco is just right up the road in New Mexico. Maybe he could run down and pick them up for the price of a pj or two.
While I am joking, I am sure some around here who have no concept of distance will say "Why not?". Well, Rocco is about as far away from those projectors as Paris is to Rome. If Dragan was crazy enough to drive down there, then it would be like going from Berlin to Moscow.

Yeah, I don't think most people (Americans OR Europeans) have a concept of just how big Texas and the United States really is, or how sparsely populated much of the country really is.
I'm relatively close to Texas in Utah, and it's still over 20 hours of non-stop driving at interstate speeds to get to Laredo. Dragan is a little closer, but it's still almost 16 hours.
Florida is deceptively large, too. Driving from Iowa to Miami is a ball-buster - damn near 24 hours of travel total. It takes you like 17 or 18 hours to get to the Florida state line from Des Moines, and you're STILL almost six hours from Miami.
Des Moines to Denver is almost 10 hours. A couple hours in Iowa, almost FIVE hours to cross Nebraska, and another couple hours in Colorado. Done that drive way too many times. Nobody knows desolation until they drive western Nebraska. Hours and hours of literally nothing to see.
