I cant find any pics of the HFQ 904 lenses, curious if they have the same plastic front.

I cant get into my head how a lens for a curved screen will work on a dome, can someone explain how that works.?

simple, if you take bunch of curved screens and put them all together it will make a dome Razz

Ok, just never seen a curved screen who is curved both vertical and horizontal.

CRT curved lenses are made for screens curved in both directions, for example HD10R5 lens is for screens (sphere) with radius of 5m.

CRT (or digital) based planetariums have a 360 degree dome X about 160 degrees. 5 projectors do the sides, and one does the top part of the dome.

Below shows an installation that I've seen. The far projector shoots about 13m across to the far side, the close one is the dome projector, about 7m up.
