You can use a free hosing site to upload to and then put link here. Photo bucket or image shack works well.

Ok. Below is your main board which is the bottom one in your receiver. Remember, now, when you plug in your receiver, everything is powered up so be careful when you are probing for voltages. If anything in this picture is unclear, let me know and I can give you a blown up one. I did it this way so you can find the connectors more easily.

Don't use chassis for ground. Use the gnd in each connector you are testing for the neg probe. Set DMM on DC voltage and plug in receiver.

CN3, pins 2 and 8, using 8 for neg, should be @ +45 to +65
CN3, pins 5 and 8, using 8 for neg, should be @-45 to -65

CN5, pins 1 and 4, see board for neg, should be +12v

CN6, pins 1 and 4, see board for neg, should be +12v

CP9, 3rd pin in is neg, 2nd pin in should be +5v, 1st pin should be -5v.

CP17, 6th pin in is neg, 7th pin in is -12v, 5th pin in is +12v.

Let see how you make out.

what about the jumper across C304? I have not plugged in the receiver since I unplugged it to solder the jumper across C304.

I had the CP17 pins wrong. I changed it. The following pic may help.

Yes, this is what the jumper is for. You would not be able to test for these voltages without it. So just plug in the receiver and start the testing.

CN3 2 and 8 56.7V

CN3 5 and 8 113.2V

CN5 1 and 4 14.8

CN6 1 and 4 13.9V

CP9 0V

CP17 0V

I am not very confident about CP9 and CP17 mac. I was not able to get very good contact with my negative probe on the pins. I did not see any meter fluctuation at all like when your probe tip slips on and off. I will get a micro clip tomorrow and see if I can get a more certain reading.

Well something is wrong with CN3, 5 and 8 but we will get back to that.

Forget about test CP9 and CP17 on the connectors. You can test right on the jumpers that are out in the open. Look over this pic. and do the tests.

gound was typo. meant to type ground. I also checked using chassis ground with same readings

Right next to connector CP3 there are 2 fuse resistors, R41 and R42. Put your DMM on continuity and test them. They should both read dead short, not open.

okay mac, I made another error...I accidently unplugged CP3 at some point before the last measurements and I just now discovered it when I went to test the 2 fuse resistors.
So, correction J146 & J148 12v J106 & J107 5v

I am assuming you mean:

J146 is -12v
J106 is -5v

Is my assumption correct?
