I got a set of Onkyo speakers the other day from a guy I did work for over a year ago and he couldn't afford to pay me so he gave me speakers. Are they quality? I have only used their receivers. I totally spaced this one since he declared bankruptcy on his business after I completed the work. I never though he would show up at my house with speakers. Says he's moving. These are Onkyo SKF-100 series. Two book shelf size 2 channel, a center, and two rears. I might try them this spring. Anyone use them or seen them in use?

Well, Onkyo doesn't have a name for speakers, so they're not worth much as a collectible/resellable item, but if you like the sound, keep them and use them.

As Curt said, try them and see if you like them. If so, then keep them. If you are not much of an audiophile, then they may be more than adequate.

ok....update on these....sound is awesome on them except for the sub. It has a lot to be desired for so I will stay with my other one. But the rest sound fantastic along with my 2 channel Infinity and compliment it nicely. Really really nice. Did a test and for the first time in a while I have great sound without my guts exploding.
