|
|
Guys I have noticed over the past few months that my marquee has been having a random no blue tube(tube face would be really dim and seem blurred and is barely visible when looking into the lens)
I removed the top to see if the tube heaters was the culprit but they aren't
The amount of time it does this will vary but the longest lasted long enough that I was able to load a game(gran tursimo on ps3) and the blue tube was dark from the time I powered up everything to the time the start screen showed on the game
I haven't had time to check anything other then making sure it was the tube heaters bad(been crazy busy due to the holiday sales)
Any ideas as to what is the issue??
It also does it with the test grids

Swap the blue neckboard with an other, and see if the problem follows the neckboard.

Isn't the missing G2 causes super bright screen?

No, an open pin on the G2 causes excessive brightness and spot burn. Losing the G2 voltage without an open circuit or the video signal causes a black screen.

Ok thanks guys I will try everything suggest out later today and it's if the issue returns or not
What's so weird is the fact it's so random as to when it does it
One time it done it and I cycled the power and it worked fine
I made sure when I installed the nine inch tubes that everything was snug and tight and it was working fine for months(almost a year) before it started this
I am glad it hasn't spot burned the tube though

Update I swap the connections and am waiting for it to act up again to see if it acts up on the green tube
Not sure when it will as it would do it then it would vary as to when it did it again

Well I had to going for almost four hours with no problem
Any ideas as to why it was acting up in the first place?
Going to use some more later tonight and see if it acts up again

Swap it to the red and see if the red does it too.
