Dave that looks great. How much image overlap have you calculated for that 12 foot wide image? Oh and what distance do you have from projector lens to screen.

Thanks all for the compliments

Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

I don't know what you mean by overlap Keith ? They're stacked side by side, and they're about 4.8 mts from screen to lenses.
I just realised how bad the camera is on this sh*tty htc phone lol
Anywho today I'll be picking up my vga splitter and will hopefully have both running with my usual half arsed set up Mr. Green

I should have asked if you are blending or stacking. My question is in relation to blending which creates a blend zone where the images from each projector overlaps if its a stack the whole image overlaps. I was thinking you were blending with a 12 foot screen.

Thought as much, I thought about blending but soon realised the mountain of work that's involved hence my decision to stack,I'm running both projectors at 75 on a 2 gain perforated screen and can tell you It's just bright enough lol

How far from the screen are the projectors and do you cover the entire 12 feet of screen with an image?

Yeah about 4.8 mts, my wall width is 3.8 , screen width with frame is 3.74 and actual image width is 3.6, it's amazing having a whole
wall filled with an image Smile

You will have to post some pictures when you get it all together. Both projectors stacked should produce good contrast and an excellent image.

I see you're not running a cinemascope screen Shocked Mr. Green

For a stack 16/9 is ok.

But for true cinema feeling a cinemascope screen is the top of the mountain.

Mine will be 3,6m width in scope Very Happy Shocked Twisted Evil Mr. Green Thumbs Up Wink Laughing Cool

Due to some personal issues, I haven't been able to do much in the room, just a few hours here and there so things have been a little slow. That will all change this week as I should have it all finished hopefully Thumbs Up

Here are some pics of hush box in velvet wrap and wall panels, enjoy! Mr. Green
