After playing a bit with blending, i think that the most important feature needet is total controle over the blend ramp. Think the Spyder will do ..

Blend Buddy seems to be a multi display colour matching tool, not a blender, but might be used in calibration of blended projetcors.

Commercial software used for graphics control on BBC gameshow pointless, but there is a free personal learning edition, that puts logo in the rendering. With gamma and rgb control.

Dutch commercial VJ software, starting at €699,- But there's a crippled trial version to play around: https://resolume.com/shop/. I searched and there supposedly are third party license options. But link at youtube might just as well lead to an infected site;-).

I looked at those and the Torsionsoft looks interesting for the price. Nash seems to have high requirements for a blend, while Dr. Dog (Blendzilla) has a different view. I didn't purchase multiple CRTs, so now I am looking at warp engines to possibly use for a Torus screen. I bought a Marantz VP15S1 that is CRT dim in its highest contrast mode. The only way to get the ft/lmbs is to go high gain screen hence the Torus. Of course, it may be all moot if I run across a good deal on a JVC 4910.

Spanky if you can get it through the door an old Vutec 120" 4:3 might be what you are looking for, spec sheet rates the screen at 13.2 gain at the heart of the focal point. These are 238 centimeter wide parabolic silverscreens. The pdf catalog/brochure I downloaded years ago is no longer to be found, even less info online than then. 2003/2004 seems to have been the last year Vutec sold these new. An prospective buyer at AVS forum mentioned it was 1200 dollar, back in 2003. There probably are still plnety of these hanging around community colleges,vocational schools, anywhere where they projected in ambient/day light. Mine came from an marine college.
