Think you computer was ok as was your graphics card. I do have some spare graphic cards I can give to you but not likely the card makes the colours cross. More likely something on the vim.

I kept the new GTX 960 card as it is quite a step up from gt430. I needed ut anyway to get 4k on the next monitor I'm getting. With any luck i get rid if the dual color, or the behavoir might improve in any case with the heavy blue tint on the left.

There is no reason why we can't talk about why it gets so blue on the left here. That's an isolated issue that changes with long and short retrace. For instance I can nolonger fill the screen sideways while I could before. I'm using same old settings I've had in the past but still a no go. So the new grapics card might actually help a little bit here. One can hope.

Short retrace blues left.

Long retrace blurs left.

No never went back and tried stock focus coils as I never used them. I'm missing about one inch on each side like it has one inch worth of blanking. Nevermind, It'll work itself out sooner or later.

I meen the astig board and the focus board. When I have a problem I do not understand I start with the lvps than the hv unit. Than other boards in random order just to get more information. It can all be done in one houre or so and saves a lot of thinking.

You will find it. I had a situation that my astig was bad on one side turned out I misplaced the astig connector next to the pins.
