First of all, there are about 10 times the number of speakers with dome tweeters as horns. Where are you looking for speakers and finding all these horns?
Last, which horns do you hate? They're not all the same, you know.

OK, fine… Klipsch. There are hundreds of other brands of speaker which don't use horns.
Where are you looking? Used on Craigslist? I have noticed that one seller is selling a whole bunch of Klipsch on CL the SLC area. Not sure what's up with that, nut it's not representative at all of the overall market. In my last locale, I hardly ever saw Klipsch on Craigslist. Probably less than one or two pairs per year.
If you're looking for something else, then look for that something else. Ebay is a great source for used speakers. Shipping sucks, but there are some great bargains on stuff that isn't the latest/greatest and/or is in less than perfect condition cosmetically.
What are you looking for? Bookshelf? Tower? What's your budget?

Yeah, I figured that out a couple of weeks ago. I was wondering why Craigslist in SLC had way fewer postings than Des Moines, then stumbled across KSL. Funny.
So, seriously… What are you looking for? Anything specific?

That is a good question....I am just browsing in discussions right now. Seeing what people like. You are talking to an old school dbx guy here.

Given the volume levels you like to listen to, you may want to stick with horns.

Thanks Curt....but I had a chance to listen to a guys system around the corner from me. He has a nice Infinity setup. I was amazed on what a difference a quality system can do for a movie Vs a system made for blasting the sound. I like it to punch a little but lately it sounds like my guts want to explode with some movies. I just cannot do that for too much longer.

Wow, as Crabb said there are way more dome speakers than horns.
Using Klipsch as your reference begs the question, which model did you listen to? As my buddy Mike Garrett said over on AVS recently, a lot of people unfairly lump all Klipsch speakers together after listening to their cheapest models. I am not saying you would still like horns, but your broad blanket is like saying all cars suck because you once test drove a Yugo.
Judging from your other thread and the link above, I am guessing that you aren't willing to spend more than $200 to $300 for a complete seven channel surround system. Not to be a d$#k, but you honestly get what you pay for even in the used market. I realize there are a lot of cheap bastards around here and I consider myself one of them. The thing is if you want that steal of a deal like your pj then you are probably going to be searching for awhile.
Having said that, if you are willing to DIY then you could try the Overnight Sensations. I have read that they are pretty good, but they are still going to cost more than you seem to be willing to spend.

Another option that might be good, but still above your budget is the Pioneer speakers by Andrew Jones. Again it might be above your budget.

One final thing, those speakers you linked to in your previous post I wouldn't bother with. I have owned Yamaha speakers years ago and the box was thin and poorly built. I haven't seen an improvement and would not expect any given the price point.

thank guys for the insight.....I have been reading a theater building guide book. It says to not address sound until the home theater is finished. So the right system can be used. But I forgot I do have these two SDAT towers that have been laying around. Only problem is they are only 4ohms and not 8. I think I would need a special receiver for them. I have an older Onkyo laying around but not sure the specs. UPDATE: The Onkyo SR674 is 4 ohm compatible. I just didn't want to use it for sound only if I can fix the HDMI card. I am have big doubts on that one so I might as well put it back into use. Sucks....paid over 800 bucks for it new and did not get much use out of it before it went out.
