I did respond to his request that I take it back. I told him that if it was defective or not as descibed I would have no problem taking it back but as he said " This is no fault of the device which, from what I can see, works flawlessly for normal use. The XRGB-3 is a notoriously finicky device with numerous quirks." If it doesn't play well with with something of his that he knows is problematic it is not my fault and requested that he resell it on his own. So far have not got a reply.

Dude....I feel your pain....last year I wrecked a vehicle and got next to nothing from insurance so I kept the thing and parted it out. Some guy who I sold the seats to comes back 8 months later (3 weeks ago)asking for his 500 bucks back for the leather seats I sold him. He said the color "faded" and they tore too easy. The seats were just thrashed and they also now smelled like beer, cigarettes, and dog sh*t. I told him to go f*ck off.

OK, that was funny. Well-played, Curt.
Chip, that's perfectly reasonable. If the guy is even half-way mature, he'll do what he should do, suck it up, and post a for-sale ad here, sell it for probably what he paid, take his lumps on the shipping, and chalk the whole thing up to an experiment. After it's all said and done, he shouldn't be out more than $20 or 30, and let's face it… If you can't suck it up and write off a $20 bill or two, then you have no business playing around with toys like audio/video or even classic gaming for that matter.
