I threw most of it out, yeah. Nowhere to store it, no time to decide what to keep, and no significant interest in a giant collection of hardware that doesn't work right after being under all that caustic mud.

My Neo collection is pretty small these days, I've got Last Blade, Metal Slug 3, Samurai Shodown 1-4, Pulstar and... A half dozen CD games. I'm big on the Metal Slugs, and you'll never beat me at Magical Drop 3. Wink

I'll bring my custom sticks. =D

Ive got around 80-90 home carts, i dont think i have MD3 though. I have Panic Bomber and both Puzzle Bobbles. Got all 6 Slugs here Wink

We will be having a gaming night at the end of the month on Mario Kart 8 for the WiiU if that interests you.

That's true, but as I say, there was no time. Crews were coming to haul my crap to the curb, and if I wanted to keep it I'd have to put the sodden rubbish in my beautiful clean car and haul it to dad's place until I found the time to deal with it. Life's too short.

I kept some critical stuff, but who really needs 8 NeoGeos? There's only a few things I miss, like that NeXT Cube and my Atari TT030, and maybe one of the SuperGrafx... And I gotta say, moving house with ~40 fewer boxes of games? Liberating. =D

Yeah mate i know how it all went in Helidon, i managed to get in there and take control prior to bulk volunteers ariving, and i had relatively good control over what was going on where i was. I took two weeks off work to go out there and went the day the road reopened.

Although i did order alot of items thrown out, i also managed to save a few items that were still quite usable. I replaced every power point in the house and both sheds, did all electrical testing and repaired the main switchboard within a couple days, and according to the Energex crew that came to replace the meter and reconnect power, i was first in the area Wink

I worked a few 16+ hour days on that, but the people i helped were very appreciative. Its one of the only situations i was quite happy to work for nothing. So many volunteers put in a HUGE effort on that cleanup, it was great to see just how many people were willing to put themselves out to help.

I yanked the green lens, part number 74922067. Photo below. Is this what you need?

Yep, AC, so its a direct swap in for any spares i have. Those HD-144 lenses are about the best AC lenses ever made. They are the shorter throw version of the HD-145s.

Take a pic of the tube face without the lens on for us to see the wear size.

Gábor while i do agree, i was involved with the cleanup of that flood in another area that was hit a day or so prior ( Helidon ), and the authorities were firmly instructing people to dispose of flood affected items due to the potential presence of harmful substances in the flood waters.

We were told the same thing from the city gov't in 2008 when my town flooded. If I'd have listened to them, I wouldn't have gotten over 100 computers, 50+ electronic components, over 10 different TVs, a few turntables, a slot machine, and some other erroneous items. Most of the stuff thrown out wasn't flood damaged, but the people in this town used it as a good excuse to do some major cleaning out (our city decided 2 years prior to stop bulky waste pickup).

Of the items that were submerged in water, every one of them were able to be salvaged after being thoroughly cleaned and dried. I didn't get sick or any of that BS, and it was quite an interesting experience. It's somewhat sad to say, but I made a good profit from other peoples misfortune because of that flood, both from the items retrieved, and people buying stuff from me!

As interesting as it was, I am glad it hasnt happened again, although this year may be another story. So, let us never speak of the flood again!

Here's the green tube.

I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that maybe this guy wasn't such a pro with these things as he suggested when I bought it.

Farrrrk me......

Thatd be installed more than a couple metres too far back, probably done so assuming HD-145 lenses instead of the HD-144 fitted to your set.

The stork that brought whoever installed that should be shot for smuggling dope.
