So as I understand it the whole point is to send 8 ohms to each side of the speaker. Using the B channel in a stereo amp is in effect Bi wiring it. Partly due to the 4 ohm load.

You dont send 8 ohm to a speaker, its the speakers impedance. Speakers are normally 4-8 ohm.

Bi wiring dont change the impedance of the speaker, but if you run 2 x 8ohm speakers parallel on one channel, the amp will see a 4 ohm load, if you run 2 x 8 ohm speakers in series on one channel, the amp will see a 16 ohm load.
