Hi All,
I am testing my new Cine max that is only a few days here but I have a couple of questions.
First problem with internal resolutions is solved. Turned out to be incompatibility between internal hdmi and internal paterns.
Second question is that the raster seems very large. It seems like the corners of the testpictures are outside and looking in the tubes it seemed indead to big but I never looked into liquid coupled tubes before. Is this something to solve with the raster width coils? I am new to Barco. I can make the picture itself small enough but need a lot of correction for that.

Ok, I just got an answer to the First problem. The internal HDMI card is causing this so this is not a problem at all. The second question about the raster size remains.
The second problem seems to be fixed too. The raster fitted exactly on the boarder. I have to shift the image pretty much but that must be porches related.

Show me a pic of your raster.
I run mine reasonably large, maybe 5-8mm from the edge at the closest point.

Hi I found yesterday that the raster seems to be good. I'll make a picture. I was wondering why there is no raster width adjustment but ok that is normal with Barco.
Thanks for the warning. I will not touch the coils or pots unless there is no other way out.
By the way. This is a 6800 hours Cine max and I have all three tubes almost new LUG. The lenses are HFQ900. With internal HDMI. I feel very very very happy
But first I have to mount the Cine max.

Congrats, You've got one if not the best 9" CRT and also better than digital in certain critical areas. Few free to ask me any question as I own 2units of it too.

Thanks! I also think this is one of the best CRT's ever made and probable one of the best beamers ever made by mankind Not counting digital they all suck! 
When watching the image of a 919 I immediately got sucked into the movie just like the old days. Digital is lifeless and boring....
But I have few spareparts. I have a 809 for spare but if things go wrong I'm in trouble. But I hope more spare machines will become available in the next years at reasonable prising.
Originally I was planning to use the housing of the split pack 809 but the noise was small enough to try without modifying the Cine max into a split pack. Probable a bad idea anyway

Ok! The lift can carry 600kg so I can put the lenses and tubes in before lifting.

Bye the way there is an iris camera on the front. Is this of any practical use with convergence? Do you guys use these camera's?

The general opinion about all automated convergence systems is that a human can do a better job. Sometimes it is good to have decent convergence in a few minutes though.

Ok! One more question. I could not start the Barco lens program not under windows 7. It kept crashing. So I do not know what hight to aim at with 16/9 and HFQ900 lenses. Could someone give me a number with respect to the top of the screen? The screen is 100 inch. Assuming the distance to be correct.
The Cine max is hanging low now but my screen is too. But I think this is a little to low

Usually the top of the screen is even with the top of the lens, or close to it.

I just read that you wrote raise the screen 2 feet. Ok, I can work with that and leaving the lens on the top of the screen. This low it might make to much noise. Thanks!
