Nice gamma/ grayscale.
Is this a native CRT respons, or do you have any digital correction.?

Native. I did not even defocus blue but that is maybe because blue is new. I was a little surprised with this. I have to add that looking at the gamma of the separate colors blue is not a totally straight line so I have some work to do there. But overal everything was a lot easier than with digital

Additional to that the Cine 9 and BR 909 do not have the red wire which can be found in the 8 inch sets maybe also the 1209s. |
Its no big deal, just block off the smaller wire with a heap of heat shrink.

Still making screenshots with my iphone that adds a lot of noise but man Scarlett looked nice in the movie 'Under the skin'.
One question to make a good screenshot do I need to place the camera on a tripod and take a long open time? Or do I just need a camera with bigger lens? Anyway it is not so important

Ok I checked the streaking for each color. Turns out it is contrast dependent. It even is dependent on the black CRT menu being on or off. With all colours it is worst at 80 contrast or so and disappears at 100. With green and red or green and blue is is worst at max contrast. With red and blue it did not become visible. With the separate colours it also was not visible.
So it seems that it appears when there is a lot of light asked assuming green takes the most current and only at a certain amount of current?

Just checked a full white but the 'streaking' does not appear than nomather what contrast.
Again checking with the scene from the movie 'Hanna'.
When I put the CRT menu on the streaking disappears unless I put the contrast on 90 first. Than it appears with the CRT menu.
The streaking also is a function of brightness but it is max on low brightness of 30.
So I conclude that at a certain amount of light in a certain scene the streaking appears but there is no object in the scene related to the streaking it seems. The streaking is allways on top.
Her a picture but the phone had trouble capturing the streaking it is only vissible in the head of the person now. In reality it was much more visible.
I have no idea why it only appears at a certain light amount and not above???? And only in uneven colours, not on al white as if it is really streaking of something in the scene ????

I don't think it is the tube. With each color separate I see nothing. It also disappears with contrast.
It might be the hdmi input because that one is acting strange all the time so I will try a hdfury as last resort. After that I will have to look for another SMPS like soleboy suggested.

Mine does it using the MOOME V3 box, but not via RGB.

Ok my RGB2 HDMI card is also based on MOOME V3. Something in the advanced processing?

Ok as soon as I have my HDFury 2 working I will check.
I will also check for the led on the MOOME that indicates that contrast is to high in that scene above, there is some kind of peak white detect. Perhaps turning the contrast lower or higher on the MOOME might have an influence.

No idea, i tried all that and it made no real difference. I doubt the HDF 2 will be up to the task though.

Is there any reason why the HDF2 does not work perhaps something with sync or external power supply?
I connected the HDF2 to my Macbook pro and it is recognised. Than I connect to port 5 but no image on the Barco. Source not connected.

Ok because the bandwith problem I understand.
But anyhow there was a switch for RGB. Now and than the image appears but it does not sync. Hmmmm.

Why not just connect the computer straight to port 5?
