I broke a nice new hard plastic adjustment tool when trying to adjust the width coils on an 808. I can use a metal screw driver but it's hit or miss for obvious reasons. Is there a way to loosen up the ferrite cores and what tool are you using for adjustments ? Confused

Barco really buried those width coils between two boards ! Evil or Very Mad

Well the coil in question must have had something sticky inside so I just replaced it...

Heat them up. the coils can warp a bit, enough to freeze the ferrite core.
