Got this in the mail today. Nifty little device!!! Measures Everything I threw at it except got some caps
that also have a ferrite bead on the outer two pins, but if I lift the center leg it reads ohms but gets
the capacitance correct if I life either outer leg.
Had some bad parts that it got right and Some parts I thought were bad I tested but are ok!! This will save some money for sure.
It seems to be well built as well, its pretty heavy for a small device. I will put a back on it tho so it won't short out on anything on the bench as the under side is exposed.
The SMD section works great and I even tested some 1206 case size resistors and caps. With my aging eyes this thing will be great!
And for those who build stereo amps or any other project where you want to match part values this will be perfect, as it reads capacitance of diode, and mosfets and also ESR of caps.

If I "get it", this combines the PEAK ESR70 and DCA55 into one unit...? I presume since it is naked, the price must be right...

Details! Where'd you get it from? That would be a great addition to the workbench here.

No point being pessimistic; it probably would't work anyway.

Late at night during the lonely nights in the Great White North, I'd do more than that with it!
Good find Nash, that's pretty cool. But can it measure 34Kv?
I'm ordering one right now!

You went a completely different direction with that. I was thinking 8 years old with a spanking new toy. Like when I got my first walkie-talkie. I slept with that beside my bed for ages.

oh bull, you bought it for this reason:
it is mainly the mouth of the artificial simulation of the patch
Note that it says 'simulation' not 'stimulation'....
